We are currently seeking an Assistant Boat Rental Manager for the Aramark operations at Lake Powell.
Position Summary:
The Assistant Boat Rental Manager will assist in all aspects of boat rental functions including: daily operations, staff and leadership meetings, assisting in the training of all employees, housekeeping, and arrivals and departures. The Assistant Manager is responsible for creating a positive work environment while making sure all functions of the boat rentals operation run smoothly by holding team members accountable, ensuring guest satisfaction, and daily leadership. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the mechanic team to ensure that all houseboats are prepared for rental. The Assistant Manager will also assist in all scheduling of employees, payroll, and disciplinary action and all other duties as assigned by Manager and Director of Boat Rentals. Individual should have competent computer skills, be willing to help out wherever needed and committed to delivering outstanding customer service. Shifts and days off vary according to business demand. Individual must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and on call shifts. Most work will be performed at the boat rentals dock.
Responsibilities will include: quality control of houseboats, daily pre-shift meetings, creating clean and safe working environments for employees and guests, and a strong focus on team leadership through positive re-enforcement and motivation.
